About the role

Austek Spray Seal is seeking a skilled and reliable Bitumen Spray Seal Ground Crew to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. This is an important role that will contribute to the successful delivery of our asphalt and road maintenance projects across the region.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating Spray Seal equipment to apply bitumen sealant to road surfaces
  • Assisting with the preparation of road surfaces prior to spraying.
  • Spreading aggregates and other materials as required to complete the spray seal process
  • Ensuring work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards
  • Collaborating with the wider project team to deliver successful outcomes
  • Maintaining equipment and vehicles to keep them in good working order

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar labourer or ground crew role within the road construction or maintenance industry preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with the safe operation of bitumen.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
