Roadworkers - Dubbo

Position: Roadworkers

Start: Immediate

Likely Duration: Expected to be 6-months

Salary: $40.26 per hour (including casual loading) plus superannuation

Location: Dubbo/ Western Plains

Overview: Our government client is seeking Roadworkers to work with their crews on road construction and maintenance of projects in the Dubbo, Gilgandra, Narromine, Warren, Parkes, and Walgett areas. The work will require regular working away from the Dubbo depot, with accommodation provided and living away allowance paid.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

The role will perform duties to assist with:

• Maintenance of established pavements
• Construction of new or enhanced pavements
• Maintenance of roadside fixtures and signage
• Application of road marking materials
• Application of bituminous sealing materials.

Essential Criteria

To be successful you will require:

• Previous civil labouring experience or similar
• White Card
• Class C Drivers Licence
• Workers on Foot (or willing to obtain)
• Residing in the Dubbo area or surrounds
• Ability to work away from home when needed
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willing to undergo police check

This assignment is expected to run for 6 months with the potential to be extended.
