With our business growing quickly, we're looking for people to join our team of dedicated road recycling operators.
The Opportunity
We're looking for Plant Operators with road works or civil experience to join our team, delivering Stabilising works on projects across New South Wales. This role involves operating a range of plant and machinery such as stabilisers, spreader trucks and rollers and assisting with projects as required. You will contribute to keeping everyone safe in the workplace by following company WHS processes and assist with repair and maintenance activities to keep plant and equipment in great condition. You will be a team player interacting with the Supervisors, Leading Hands and Subcontractors to support Hiway Australia in its commitment to delivering high quality work and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.

Essential:
- Experience in operating Compaction Rollers /Water Carts /spreader truck
- Current HR drivers' licence.
- Civil or Earthmoving experience
- Construction White Card
- A positive attitude and commitment towards safety.
- Be a team player and quality focused.
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
- Availability to work overtime, weekends, nights and live away from home when required
Desirable:
- Demonstrated experience working in the Stabilisation industry, including experience operating Wirtgen WR240 or WR2400 Stabilisers, or Streumaster Binder Spreaders
- Previous road construction/stabilisation experience is beneficial or candidates who have pavement construction experience or desire to learn and progress in a new industry.
- Current mobile plant tickets (skid steer sweeper, loader, watercart, roller, self-propelled aggregate spreader, bitumen sprayer) advantageous
- Asphalting or Spray Seal experience
- HC or MC drivers' licence will be advantageous
- Foam bitumen Stabilisation experience
