Hours:** 9-day fortnight, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

About the Role

We're seeking two motivated and reliable Road Workers to join our Dubbo Works Depot team. You'll be part of a supportive maintenance crew working across multiple regional council areas to construct and maintain state highways and local road networks.

This is a hands-on role that involves performing a variety of outdoor manual tasks using hand and power tools, plant, and equipment in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform road maintenance and construction works including pavement repairs, new pavement construction, and roadside fixture installation.
  • Apply road marking and bituminous sealing materials.
  • Support Machinery Operators and Trades Workers in daily roadworks and infrastructure projects.
  • Contribute to a safe and productive team culture while meeting work quality and safety standards.
  • Travel within the region as required, including occasional overnight stays.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • White Card (General Construction Induction)
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor manual labour

Preferred:

  • Truck Licence (MR/HR)
  • Traffic Control tickets (must be obtained prior to starting)
  • Previous experience in road maintenance or civil construction
