Key Responsibilities:
As the Sales & Client Care Consultant, some of your responsibilities are, but not limited to.
1. Sales Growth and Business Development:
• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the trade and retail client base and increase sales revenue within the Australian market, whilst meeting the sales target
and KPI.
• Facilitate customer sales enquiries via different platforms and in-store sales.
• Assist customers in selecting the right furniture pieces, coordinating delivery, and ensuring proper installation.
• Facilitate retail sales of homewares and the sister brand Yō̄li.
• Identify new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and collaboration prospects with interior designers, architects, contractors, and other trade professionals.
• Collaborate on store events and marketing initiatives to drive sales and meet sales targets.
• Maintain and analyse weekly, monthly and yearly reports to ensure the department is on track to meeting its goals.
• Bring ideas and solutions to meetings to assist with reaching sales and company goals.
2. Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with trade, designer clients, and other retail customers – understanding their unique preferences, requirements, and
project timelines.
• Act as the main point of contact for all trade-related inquiries, providing prompt and professional assistance via phone, email, and online meetings if needed.
3. Product Knowledge and Expertise:
• Stay updated on the latest trends, designs, and features in the furniture industry, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings and capabilities.
• Educate clients on the product designs, features, and benefits of En Gold furniture collections, assisting them in selecting the most suitable solutions for their projects.
• Maintaining the En Gold Gallery's visual representation and merchandising.
4. Project Coordination and Support:
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, design, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless sales and clients' project execution and timely delivery
of products.
• Provide proactive support and guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept and product selection to delivery and installation.
5. Customer Satisfaction and Retention:
• Anticipate and address any issues or concerns raised by trade clients promptly, striving to exceed their expectations and deliver exceptional service at every interaction.
• Proactively follow up with clients post-project completion to gather feedback, address any outstanding issues, and nurture ongoing relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
6. Client Care Duties:
• Work closely with the logistics department to get updates on customer orders to satisfy customer expectations and deliver in a timely manner.
• Ensure property documentation is met for maintaining and tracking orders.
• Take the initiative to trouble shoot errors on orders, such as obtaining clear freight instructions and fees, if necessary, to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Be proficient in using DEAR, to maintain inventory tracking and assisting with customer enquiries.
• Ensure correct documentation of warranty matters occurs to ensure correct record keeping and assist the Client Care Supervisor with effectively communicating concerns to
manufacturers.
• Effective troubleshooting when solving and promising a resolution to customers to ensure both the company's needs are met and the relationship with the customer is
maintained.
• Educate customers on our product and navigate them through queries relating to misuse or natural wear and tear
• Work closely with the Client care supervisor to ensure they are across actioning any necessary tasks that come under their role.
