KI Training and Assessing Pty Ltd (KITA) is a nationally recognised Registered Training Organisation, approved by the Australian Quality Skills Authority (ASQA) to deliver high-quality, industry-based training and assessment across Australia.

We specialise in high-risk and nationally accredited training programs, and due to continued business growth, we are looking for a passionate and experienced RTO Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team.

Your Role:

As an RTO Compliance Officer, you will support compliance functions of the RTO. Your role will be vital in maintaining the integrity of our systems and ensuring ongoing compliance with national standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all compliance and reporting obligations are met in a timely manner.

  • Prepare and submit quarterly AVETMISS data and annual compliance reports.

  • Support audits and ensure alignment with ASQA and the VET Quality Framework.

  • Generate reports on student progress, compliance, and system updates.

  • Review and maintain business documentation, policies, and procedures.

  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and templates.

  • Support the collection and maintenance of trainer/assessor compliance evidence.

  • Assist in preparing regulatory submissions to ASQA, including scope changes.

  • Prepare and deliver internal compliance reporting to management.

  • Conduct and analyse internal and external surveys to support continuous improvement.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment and bring a proactive approach to your work.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • Strong understanding of RTO compliance requirements (VET Quality Framework, Standards for RTOs).

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role within the training or education sector.

  • Familiarity with student management systems (aXcelerate experience highly regarded).

  • High level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.

  • A team player with a solutions-focused mindset and commitment to quality and improvement.
