Our resort features beautifully designed one and two-bedroom villas, diverse dining options, and world-class facilities that embody the best of Byron Bay. We take pride in offering barefoot luxury, ensuring unforgettable moments for both guests and staff in our stunning coastal paradise.

We're looking for passionate, energetic, and service-driven professionals to join the team at Azure, our signature restaurant and bar. Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Azure offers a high-end and fast-paced dining experience in a world-class resort setting.

While the role may include some morning or lunch shifts, we are primarily seeking availability for evening and dinner service. Applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 4 months, including peak holiday periods such as Christmas and New Year's.

As part of the team, you will:

  • Confidently guide guests through our food and beverage offerings
  • Assist with dietary requirements and upsell where appropriate
  • Deliver exceptional service in our restaurant, Lagoon, or Adults-Only Pool areas
  • Carry three plates, serve drinks on trays, and execute mise en place table setups
  • Maintain clean, well-presented tables, cabanas, and sections

We're seeking team members who are available a minimum of four days per week, with the flexibility to work across varying shifts. A valid NSW RSA is essential for the role. We're looking for positive, reliable team players with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality. Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or bar setting is essential, previous fine dining and resort / hotel experience is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Preferably an Australian permanent resident / citizen with a commitment to longer term employment
  • Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome to apply, but will require a min of a 4-6 month commitment to the resort
  • Fine dining or high-end restaurant experience (essential to succeed in this role)
  • Experience in hotel or resort environment a plus
  • Current NSW RSA and driver's licence
  • Availability at least 4 days per week, with flexibility across evenings and weekends
  • Professional presentation, excellent communication and a genuine passion for hospitality
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality
