About the Company
Now Careers is recruiting on behalf of a respected and long-standing client in the steel reinforcement industry. Known for delivering high-quality work across multi-residential and commercial projects, this client is looking for a skilled professional to join their team.
This is not a junior role – we are looking for an experienced scheduler who can work independently, accurately, and confidently on high-tonnage projects.
About The Role
You will be responsible for preparing accurate and efficient bar bending schedules (BBS) for large-scale reinforcement projects. This includes interpreting structural and architectural drawings, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and site requirements.
The role involves scheduling predominately for multi-residential and commercial builds, with most projects in excess of 800T. Post-Tension scheduling experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare precise and detailed bar bending schedules
- Interpret engineering and architectural drawings
- Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and detailing teams
- Ensure compliance with AS3600, AS1100, and relevant standards
- Manage scheduling for multiple complex builds
- Optimise steel usage to reduce waste and cost
About You
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a reinforcement scheduler
- Demonstrated experience with high-tonnage projects (800T and above)
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, ReoCAD, or similar scheduling software
- Post-Tension scheduling experience is a must
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to deliver consistent, quality work under pressure
