Steel fixers - Full-time positions

Mondaa Group Pty Ltd is specialized in delivering industry leading subcontracting services to the in the steel reinforcement industry across NSW.

Known for delivering high-quality work across multi-residential and commercial projects, Mondaa Group Pty Ltd looking for a skilled and fully qualified Steel fixers to work on large-scale reinforcement projects. This is a full-time position with 38-hour basic weeks.

The Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Steel fixers for a permanent, full–time position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out measurements and calculations
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Cut, bend and fit welded wire mesh into concrete areas to be mesh-reinforced
  • Fix mesh and reinforced steel into position in formwork for concrete pours
  • Set up winches and rig equipment to raise and position girders, plates, columns and other steel units
  • Use steelfixing tools and equipment
  • Be prepared to assist other trades

Minimum Requirements:

  • AQF Certificate II or III in the relevant field
  • Steel fixing, post-tensioning and construction experience: 2 years (Required)
  • Current Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)

Desirable Skills:

  • Safety procedures knowledge
  • Positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working in an inclusive team
  • Valid Driving License and transport desirable
