About the role
As a Nurse Practitioner at HerbaCure's Flexible Telehealth Clinic, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare services to our diverse client base. This contract position offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing you to provide telehealth consultations from the comfort of your own home or any other suitable location.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and provide diagnosis and treatment for clients via secure video consultations
- Prescribe and manage medications, order diagnostic tests, and provide referrals to specialists as needed
- Develop and implement individualised care plans to address the unique needs of each client
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records and documentation
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare
What we're looking for
- Registered Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make well-informed diagnoses and treatment decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and other healthcare providers
- Proficient in the use of telehealth technologies and electronic medical record systems
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a dynamic, remote-based environment
- Experience in prescribing plant-based medications to patients.
- Have a working understanding of TGA, NIIM and relevant regulatory bodies rules and regulations for prescribing Medicinal Cannabis.
