Ttk Concrete & More Pty Ltd is currently searching for a qualified and experienced Carpenter.

This position is suited to ambitious candidates with the desire and motivation to embrace opportunity for growth.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

This is a permanent full-time position.

Most of the work is undertaken around Melbourne and surrounding areas; may involve travelling to rural and regional areas in Victoria based on the location of the clients.

Competitive salary package, subject to work experience and qualifications.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The successful applicant will report directly to the business owner.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Read and analyse blueprints to determine job requirement.

· Measure, cut and build frames for houses, walls, windows, doors, and staircases.

· Maintenance of existing structures and fittings

· Check the accuracy of work with the use of levels and surveying equipment.

· Communicate with other trades professionals to ensure project completed in a timely manner.

· Effectively use a large range of hand and power tools.

· Lift/carry heavy pieces of material or structures.

PREREQUISITES & QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have the following skills and experience:

· Certificate III in Carpentry is essential.

· Previous experience in Carpentry (a minimum of 2-year experience).

· Only White card holder will be considered.

· Own a car (preferably a Van) and carry a full Victorian driver's licence (or Valid licence in Australia).

· Ability to work independently, while being part of a dedicated and experienced team

· Excellent communication skills

· Great at multitasking and meeting deadlines

CORE SKILLS

· Logical and clear thinker

· Basic maths and problem-solving skills

· Strong attention to detail

TECHNICAL SKILLS

· High level of competency in measuring, cutting and installing frames and structures

· Expertise in measuring and cutting wood and other materials such as plastic, fibreglass, and aluminium

· Proficiency in using tools and instruments.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $79,000.00 per year
