Sales Development Representative (SDR) | IPO'd SaaS Company | Hybrid North Sydney

Are you looking to step into a SaaS sales career and enter the world of tech sales?

Our client is a global powerhouse with their APAC HQ based in North Sydney.

The Opportunity

You'll join a collaborative, metrics-driven SDR team that's passionate about quality outreach and meaningful conversations. Depending on your experience, you'll operate in a
high-velocity SMB motion
or a
strategic mid-market role
, engaging decision-makers across
MSPs and internal IT teams
.

What you'll do:

  • Generate and qualify
    outbound leads across IT and channel sales ecosystems
  • Conduct high-volume,
    high-quality outreach via calls, email, and social
  • Engage senior decision-makers in IT
    , operations, and sales
  • Set qualified meetings
    for the Account Executive team
  • Collaborate with peers to refine messaging and improve performance

This is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves to combine structure with creativity.

Team & Culture

You'll join an 8-person SDR team with defined focus areas:

  • 3 reps targeting internal IT teams (mid-market)
  • 3 reps focused on MSPs (enterprise & SMB segments)
  • 2 reps driving cross-sell and expansion

The company invests heavily in
coaching, enablement, and internal mobility
— several current SDRs are on track for promotion to AE roles in 2026.

What You'll Bring

Must-haves:

  • Experience in customer facing roles (such as recruiting, media, property, personal training or phone based selling)
  • Confident communicator with strong client engagement skills
  • High energy, curiosity, and resilience
  • Eagerness to learn SaaS and modern sales frameworks
  • Resilient, determined and proactive attitude to learning and development

Nice-to-haves:

  • Prior SDR or SaaS sales experience
  • Experience with phone based sales
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools

Compensation & Benefits

  • $83k OTE (70/30 split)
  • Flexibility up to
    $90K OTE
    for experienced candidates
