Little Miracles Terrigal is looking for a kitchen hand to work two days a week. The successful applicant must be enthusiastic, able to work as part of a team and flexible. This role is 9am-2pm.

To qualify for this position you need to comply with the Cooks In Education And Care Services Qualification Guidelines. This requires you to have successfully completed units in:

  • menu planning;
  • nutrition; and
  • safe food handling.

The role will include tasks such as

  • Food preparation for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
  • Safe food handling for allergic/anaphylactic children
  • Meal plating and service and taking to classrooms
  • Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, ensuring that general day to day procedures are followed
  • Work collaboratively with other team members within the kitchen and throughout the service.

You will also need to have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check
