Based in Brisbane, this permanent AO7 Principal Advisor - Digital Support role offers an exciting opportunity to drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives in a dynamic government environment.
We're seeking a proactive professional to support the development and coordination of digital transformation initiatives that align with the strategic objectives of the Department. In this key role, you'll work closely with the Office of the Chief Digital Officer to promote innovative digital solutions, enhance operational efficiency, and improve service delivery across the department. You'll also contribute to the development of digital policies, frameworks, and governance structures, helping to guide strategic planning and ensure the department remains a leader in digital innovation.

If you excel at driving digital innovation and want to play a key role in shaping the future of digital transformation for Queensland, this role is for you Based at 1 William Street, Brisbane, the AO7 Principal Advisor - Digital Support is a permanent position offering flexible full-time hours.
In this role, you'll provide input, guidance and support for the development, implementation, and review of department-wide digital transformation strategies, policies, and frameworks, ensuring alignment with the department's strategic objectives and Queensland Government priorities. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Information Technology Partners (ITP), to identify opportunities for digital innovation and ensure the successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting on the progress of digital transformation initiatives, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement, and supporting the development of digital capability-building initiatives. You'll also contribute to the department's digital governance framework, facilitate the adoption of emerging technologies, and contribute advice to senior leadership on digital transformation strategies.This is a dynamic and rewarding role where your ability to engage stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and foster a culture of innovation will be essential.
