IT Project Manager

As an IT Project Manager you will lead a team of IT specialists who plan, execute and deliver key IT projects to support our continued growth as a business.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across Group IT, senior management across the group, business stakeholders and vendors to ensure IT projects are delivered according to KPI's.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take accountability for the delivery of projects according to KPI's (scope, budget, schedule and quality), ensuring risks and issues are proactively managed and unexpected changes minimised.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, setting the culture which supports high-performing teams, fostering team member development, and driving productivity.
- Lead the preparation of business cases incorporating concept development and options analysis, and ensuring the alignment of project objectives and success criteria with strategic objectives.
- Lead and manage procurement activities, high-level contract negotiations and relationships with vendors and external service providers and their performance as required.
- Establish and maintain mutually beneficial, long-term, productive relationships with stakeholders through transparent communication and by delivering on commitments.
What you'll bring:
- Recognised project management qualification such as Prince2, PMI or PMBOK or similar.
- Prior experience (5+ years) in project management roles with demonstrated experience in the implementation of software as a service solutions;
- Ability to understand and translate both business and technical concepts, processes, requirements and solutions.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Advanced analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
