About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals living with a range of physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disabilities. Your aim will be to enhance the independence, dignity, and quality of life of the people you support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, dressing, and hygiene
  • Support clients in achieving their individual goals and promoting independence
  • Facilitate community access, including transport and supervision during social outings or appointments
  • Assist with domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Follow individual care plans and report any changes in client needs or behaviour
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures and organizational policies

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in community/ disability or similar (preferred)
  • Cert III in Health Services Assistance, disabilities or similar
  • Driver's License
  • Reliable Motor Vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
  • CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
  • Proven rights to work in Australia
  • Must be available to work early mornings and afternoons

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $37.50 – $42.50 per hour
