About the role

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Office Assistant to join the team at Daniel Lewis Rheumatology Centre in St Kilda, VIC 3182. This is a casual position, mostly on Tuesdays and Thursdays during consulting hours, 7.45 a.m to 3.45 p.m. This position formally commences on Tuesday, 1 July, 2025. Please submit your application early as interviews begin on Monday 2 June 2025.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.

  • Providing administrative support to the medical team as required.

  • Monitoring the computer and office systems to facilitate Microsoft Teams communications.

  • Maintaining tidy and organized reception and patient waiting-room environments.

  • Assisting with other general office duties as needed.

What we're looking for

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficient in using computer systems and office software, including Microsoft Office suite.

  • A team-oriented approach and the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment,

  • The operation of this medical centre requires the staff member to be punctual and reliable.
