The Opportunity:

We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a full-time maternity leave cover position. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to step into a dynamic role within a supportive and flexible working environment.

You'll play a key part in maintaining our accounts payable processes while contributing to the smooth operation of our finance function. This role offers Monday to Friday hours and flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and match invoices with purchase orders, approvals, and account codes
  • Process payments via EFT, bank transfer, or check within vendor terms
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies promptly
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare aging and financial reports
  • Ensure documentation meets audit, tax, and internal compliance standards
  • Assist in the preparation of BAS and Income Tax Return

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • Proven experience working in Accounts Payable (mandatory)
  • Experience using XERO advantageous
  • Experience in the property/strata advantageous, not mandatory
