TYRE FITTER - BDS MIDDLEMOUNT

BDS Mechanical currently has full time position available for an Tyre Fitter to join our team in Middlemount. This is an opportunity to work on site and a perfect opportunity to join a large, secure, reputable company.

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a rapidly growing and dynamic company, specialising in mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding services - delivered both on-site and through our fully equipped workshops. With 22 branches across Queensland and a fleet of over 160 field service units, we provide dependable coverage across more than 600,000 km² throughout Queensland and Western Australia. The successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Tyre diagnostic experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong fault finding skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous

Your duties will include:

  • Inspect tyres for damages and advise customers on replacement tyres needed
  • Refit tyres using air-driven equipment
  • Puncture repairs
  • Adjust and carry out wheel alignments, rotation and balancing
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicles
