Downunder Group Solutions (DGS) is seeking experienced Tyre Fitters to join our team at Curragh North Coal Mine. Enjoy a strong safety culture, competitive pay, and a consistent 7/7 D/N roster.

About the Role

As a Tyre Fitter, you will work in a fast-paced mining environment, carrying out tyre maintenance, repairs, and inspections on heavy mining equipment. You'll work alongside the Maintenance Supervisor and crew to ensure all tyres are serviced safely and efficiently, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Remove, fit, and repair tyres, rims, and wheel assemblies

• Conduct inspections, adjust pressures, and complete reports

• Diagnose and resolve tyre-related issues on heavy mining equipment

• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to required standards

• Access and interpret technical information and digital systems

• Adhere to all site safety and operational procedures

What We're Looking For

• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology (AUR21920)

• Forklift High-Risk Licence and/or Tyre Handler experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in mining earthmover tyre fitting

• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical

• Commitment to safety and compliance
