
Principal Solution Analyst, Enterprise Technology

About the role:
The Principal Solution Analyst is responsible for leading the development and delivery of solution options and recommendations. The role leads the requirements gathering and analysis exercise, and designing system solutions based on business, functional and non-functional requirements, which includes defining the interaction between business processes and functions.
Additionally, the role provides leadership and mentorship across the application analysis landscape, ensuring quality and consistency in all team outputs.

About you:
Can you demonstrate or have experience in:
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the department's approved platforms and systems. Develop system configuration skills and knowledge for departmental approved platforms.
- Facilitating the requirements analysis of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) based solutions for specific use cases for solution proposals.
- Providing leadership and guidance based on expertise to the team members and operate within a level of autonomy and accountability in delivering solutions and outcomes for the organisation.
- Facilitating workshops with relevant stakeholders to define the business problem, efficiency gain or improved customer service opportunity.
- Providing innovative advice to stakeholders in relation to functional and non-functional requirements and design opportunities including cross program implications.
- Ensuring compliance with government, eHealth, and ETB strategies and policies, including adherence to the PDM and other endorsed methodologies.
Qualifications / Specialist Expertise
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant Information Technology discipline is highly desirable.
- Certification in PRINCE 2 or other project management methodology is highly desirable.
Specialist Expertise
- Knowledge and experience of Agile Projects and methodologies is desirable.
- Knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems is desirable.
