This is a Permanent Full Time position.
Position Profile:
The Senior Infrastructure Officer is responsible for leading the planning, development, and delivery of infrastructure projects across the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS). This includes oversight of both minor works and capital works programs. The role provides high-level expertise in infrastructure project management, documentation, business case development, strategic asset planning, reporting, and risk analysis. The Senior Infrastructure Officer also contributes to the development and implementation of infrastructure-related policies and strategies to support the effective management of CAHS facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of infrastructure and capital works projects to ensure objectives for cost, time, quality and client needs are achieved.
- Provide expert advice, technical support and high-level project documentation including business cases, risk analyses and implementation plans.
- Manage project resources, budgets and funding submissions, ensuring sound financial oversight and reporting.
- Prepare reports, briefings and correspondence to support informed decision-making across CAHS and government stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing CAHS in negotiations, meetings and project control groups.
- Contribute to strategic asset planning, infrastructure policy development and change management initiatives that support the long-term direction of CAHS.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
