About The Role
The Knowledge Information and Technology Directorate is accountable for the provision of services and technology that support strategic and operational processes across the Department of Justice, enable information to be leveraged effectively and ensure the Department's investment in technology is optimised.
Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities
The Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimising the department's cloud, computer, storage, and infrastructure environments to ensure they are fit-for-purpose, cost-effective, and aligned with business needs. The role involves assessing business requirements, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders, and leading infrastructure-related projects. It also includes capacity planning, technical analysis, and continuous improvement of systems and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage cloud and infrastructure capacity and performance
- Coordinate technical solutions and improvements based on business needs
- Lead and contribute to infrastructure-related projects and initiatives
- Provide high-level technical advice to support decision-making
- Engage with vendors and service providers to ensure value delivery
- Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing
- Support team capability through mentoring and collaboration
Ideal Candidate Profile
The panel is seeking a proactive and technically skilled individual with strong project management capabilities and a strategic mindset. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud and infrastructure environments, a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement, and the ability to assess business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
