Apprentice Baker Wanted at Bakers Delight Toronto

We have a delightful opportunity available now for a hardworking and enthusiastic Apprentice Baker to join our team at Bakers Delight Toronto

Daily responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Preparing and baking of products
• Work in a fast pace bakery
• Assisting fellow bakers
• Cleaning tasks
• Providing customer service
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment

To be considered for this position, you will need to:

· Have a positive attitude, ability to work as part of a team and be willing to learn.

· Ability to get yourself to work on time, shifts start between 1am - 3am

· Must be able to lift stock, ingredients can range up to 12kg(flour bag)- 20kg(cheese block)

· Be available to work 38 hours a week, across 5 days, including some weekends

· Have basic literacy and numeracy skills

. Available to work a rotating roster including weekend shifts.

Experience isn't a requirement to obtain this position as training can be provided on the job

Will receive bonus upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

*To be eligible for an Australian Apprenticeship you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident. Apprentices will receive formal training and support from day one.
