About Us:

ETO Group is an award-winning Australian online FX & CFD trading platform regulated by ASIC since 2013. As our business continues to expand globally, we are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our Technology team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about software quality and eager to grow their technical skills in an innovative trading environment. You will work alongside experienced QA engineers and developers, learning how to ensure platform stability, accuracy, and high performance in a fast-paced financial technology company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and executing test cases for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
  • Participate in manual and automated testing, ensuring product quality across multiple environments.
  • Learn to develop and maintain basic automated test scripts using modern frameworks.
  • Support test execution, report bugs in Jira, and verify fixes in collaboration with developers.
  • Help monitor test environments (Docker/AWS) and contribute to performance and regression testing.
  • Participate in release testing and ensure readiness before production deployment.
  • Contribute to test documentation, learn test planning and QA best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in software testing or QA automation (internship or project experience welcome).
  • Basic knowledge of testing concepts (functional, regression, API, and performance testing).
  • Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
  • Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Willingness to learn Docker, AWS, and CI/CD concepts.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential.
  • Interest in financial systems or fintech is an advantage.
