About The Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Purchasing you will support the delivery of end-to-end procurement activities across the business. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant procurement of goods and services while maintaining strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Process supplier claims accurately in SAP, ensuring all documentation is properly supported, evidence is maintained, and transactions are completed in line with contractual requirements and agreed timeframes.
  • Support the purchasing team by creating requisitions, raising purchase orders, and following up on outstanding requests, ensuring operational needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage Supplier Master Data in SAP, which includes onboarding and prequalifying suppliers and vendors, verifying their details and banking information, and maintaining effective communication with suppliers to ensure streamlined procurement processes
  • Assist with month-end activities, providing relevant data for cost reviews, accruals, and corporate planning processes to ensure accurate reporting and financial accountability.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within procurement and claims workflows, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement changes that enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring that shared goals and expectations are met.
  • Ensure all procurement and claims activities are conducted in compliance with company policies.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement or a similar purchasing role.
  • Knowledge of best practice procurement processes and supply chain principles.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of document control
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP desirable) and Microsoft Office Suite.
