We have an exciting new opportunity available for an Executive Assistant to join our Opal Australian Paper Team at the Maryvale paper mill site in the Latrobe Valley in Victoria. This role will work with the General Manager Maryvale providing high-level and trusted administrative support, handling a wide range of executive, administrative, and office support duties.

In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Preparing agendas, briefs, and background documents for meetings
  • Drafting, reviewing and managing communications on behalf of the General Manager
  • Coordinating logistics for meetings, events, and conferences
  • Processing invoices, expenses, and budget-related documentation
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between the executive and internal/external stakeholders
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Assisting in preparing reports, presentations, and proposals

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a senior administrative or executive assistant role
  • Previous experience supporting C-suite or senior executives (preferred)
  • Tertiary qualifications in business administration or related field (desirable)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • A high level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Advanced proficiency in the full MS Office suite and ability to acquire proficiency in range of other business applications (e.g. SAP procurement)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and project management skill
