About the role

Join a dynamic, established team as a Project Coordinator. In this full-time role based in Adelaide, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of construction projects.

This role involves preparing formal project variation requests, coordinating site requirements, producing quotes, and ensuring the timely coordination of resources such as labour, inventory, sundries, and transport.

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in helping to meet project deadlines, manage costs, and maintain client satisfaction by supporting the overall project delivery process.

Utilising your strong organisational and communication skills, you will ensure the projects run smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of construction projects with your administrative and logistical support to the Project Manager.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in coordinating all site requirements, including labour resources, materials, and transport logistics.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to the project manager.
  • Assisting with the preparation of project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues or concerns that arise during the project lifecycle, and knowing when to escalate.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and project processes.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
