We are currently seeking multiple experienced  Café Line chefs/Cooks/Sandwich hands  to join our dynamic team.

Roster Details -

- Hours: Shifts Vary between 5:30 am – 3.30pm

- Days: Monday to Sunday options available 

- No nights or public holidays

Position Summary -

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the Kicthen while upholding Charlie & Franks' reputation and culture. Reporting to the Head Chef and working closely with the Café Manager, you will handle the production of our catering menu and contribute to daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities -

Catering & Kitchen Operations:

- Coordinate and dispatch catering orders with precision and timeliness.  

- Assist with à la carte menu cooking, cleaning, prep work, and sandwich & salad preparation.  

- Perform opening and closing procedures consistently and accurately.  

- Manage daily ordering, ensuring stock levels meet requirements.  

- Maintain consistently low wastage and breakages, with proper documentation.

Quality & Standards:

- Ensure all kitchen products meet company specifications and standards.  

- Maintain exceptional food presentation and uphold superior product quality for ultimate customer satisfaction.

Teamwork & Communication:

- Foster positive interactions with staff and guests, contributing to a harmonious work environment.  

- Actively provide and respond to feedback from customers, suppliers, and team members.  

- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Health & Safety:

- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.  

- Manage and execute fire or evacuation drills, ensuring familiarity with all exits and fire escapes.  

- Maintain cleanliness and organization to the highest standards in assigned areas.

Skills, Knowledge & Requirements -

- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or extensive café and catering experience.  

- Strong food preparation and presentation skills with a passion for delivering quality dishes.  

- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving systems.  

- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working under pressure.  

- High level of personal presentation and hygiene.  

- Excellent communication skills.  

- Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending and lifting.  

- Own transport or access to early public transport to North Sydney.  

- Must be an Australian resident or hold a valid working visa or student visa.
