Job Description: Country Manager - Australia & New Zealand (ANZ)

Reports to: Founder & CEO

Package: Competitive Base Salary + Sales Commission + Equity Incentives

· Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the end-to-end market entry and growth strategy for the ANZ region. Act as the visionary leader for the local entity.

· Build from Zero to One: Establish the local Australian company, including brand registration, legal compliance (ABN, directorship), and setting up operational processes.

· Integrated Sales & Marketing: Design and implement a pioneering online-and-offline (O2O) sales strategy. This will include:

· Digital: Building our digital presence from the ground up (social media, SEO/SEM, e-commerce).

· Offline: Developing and managing novel channel partnerships and experiential marketing initiatives (e.g., pop-up stores, partnerships with premium retailers, trade shows).

· Team Building: Hire, mentor, and lead the initial local team focused on sales, marketing, and customer service, fostering a high-performance culture.

· Customer Obsession: Establish and oversee a best-in-class customer service and support system. Be the voice of the ANZ customer, gathering critical market feedback and translating it into actionable insights for our product R&D teams in China.

· P&L Management: Take full ownership of the ANZ P&L. Manage budgets, forecast sales, control costs, and drive profitability.

· Compliance & Governance: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to Australian and New Zealand business, consumer, and employment laws.

Who We Are Looking For (The Ideal Candidate)

· Proven Builder: A demonstrated history of building and scaling sales or commercial operations from zero to one. You thrive in ambiguous environments and create structure where none exists.

· Sales DNA: A strong background in sales, with deep familiarity with the ANZ consumer landscape, buying behaviors, and cost structures.

· Hardware Enthusiast: A genuine passion for and belief in the future of AI smart hardware. Prior experience in hardware, mechanical products, or home appliances is a significant advantage.

· Full-Stack Marketer: Expertise in both digital marketing and offline channel development. You are strategic but also hands-on and able to execute.

· Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are a proactive, resourceful, and resilient leader. You think like an owner, not an employee, and are driven by building long-term value.

· Legal & Operational Acumen: Understanding of Australian corporate governance and business compliance. Must be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to fulfil directorship requirements.
