Sydney NSW, Australia Atlassian Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Overview:

Working at Atlassian

Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Growth Product Manager for JSM, you will own and drive the growth strategy for one of Atlassian's flagship products. You will apply a scientific, data-driven approach to uncover and execute opportunities that accelerate user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention across JSM's diverse customer base—including engineering, IT operations, support, and business teams.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and analytics to define, test, and scale growth initiatives. You will act as a player/coach, guiding other Product Managers while owning key growth deliverables yourself. Your work will directly impact JSM's ability to help teams respond to changes quickly, resolve incidents, and deliver great service at scale.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute the growth strategy for JSM, focusing on user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
  • Identify, prioritize, and validate high-impact growth opportunities through qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Design and run A/B and multivariate experiments to optimize user flows (e.g., onboarding, incident response, request management).
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Analytics to deliver and iterate on growth initiatives.
  • Define and track key business and usage metrics to measure the success of growth programs.
  • Build business cases for new growth initiatives and drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Act as a player/coach, mentoring other Product Managers and fostering a culture of experimentation and learning.
  • Stay close to customer needs, market trends, and the evolving ITSM landscape to inform product direction.
  • Present JSM and Atlassian at customer and partner events as a growth thought leader.

Qualifications:

About you:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2 years in a Growth PM role at a SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven track record of driving impactful growth initiatives through experimentation and data-driven decision making.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with data/statistical analysis and translating insights into action.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Marketing, Analytics) to deliver results.
  • Deep understanding of the SaaS customer lifecycle, especially in ITSM or B2B software.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence without authority.
  • Strategic thinker who can also dive into the details and execute.
  • Experience with JSM, ITSM, or related enterprise software is a plus.
