About the Role

The Hospital and Family Relationships Manager is part of the Services and Programs team and you will be responsible for overseeing Camp Quality's hospital engagement nationally. Ensuring strong relationships are maintained at each paediatric hospital, you will also support other hospital services such as Child Life Therapy and Beads of Courage. You will oversee our Family Advisory Committee and our Voice of Children Committee and will enjoy playing a key part in our ongoing engagement with families.

This role will also provide both Clinical Supervision and Psycho-Social support to the wider Services & Programs team, and you will facilitate supervision sessions for those staff members working closely with families impacted by cancer.

  • Engage with our families and provide psycho - social support to the wider Services and Programs Team

Experience and Knowledge

  • 5+ years' relative experience gained within the not-for-profit, health or commercial sectors
  • Experience in management/leadership within health or community sectors and/or demonstrated ability to provide support to team members and contribute strategically to a team
  • Proven ability to engage and quickly create rapport with referrers, external agencies and families impacted by cancer
  • Leadership experience including stakeholder engagement with various stakeholders and leading projects
  • Proven ability to present to external stakeholders

Qualifications and Training

Preferred:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Allied Health, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Communications, stakeholder management, project management or similar.

  • You offer superb customer service, with strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to engage in building relationships
  • You have an empathetic and flexible approach to manage the sensitivity of diverse families
  • Highly organised, you are adaptable, with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines with strong project management skills
  • Current driver's license
  • Some reasonable out-of-hours work and communication will be required in extenuating circumstances
  • Inter / intra state travel will be required
  • Current Working With Children Check
