Construction Cadet

Roomi Pty Ltd is a rapidly expanding company with huge goals. We are helping people into quality Australian made affordable housing by building small transportable buildings for a range of purposes but especially to meet the residential tiny home/granny flat market. We require an energetic and organized Construction Cadet to join and play an integral role in our operations each weekday from 7am to 3pm.

You will be responsible for:

- A hands on approach (you must be onsite daily from 7am to 3pm) to assist the team in meeting production targets.
- Be involved in weekly Production meetings.
- Communicating and coordinating with clients and external contractors to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Coordinating with Engineers and Certifiers to project manage council approval processes.
- Coordinate with clients and the factory foreman to manage warranty repairs.
- Coordinating with the Factory Foreman to ensure adequate raw material supply for uninterrupted production.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, staff training/development and operational cost reduction.

You will need:

- Experience within the manufacturing or construction industries.
- Experience and motivation to gain invaluable experience in Project Management.
- Very good time management and attention to detail
- Motivation to learn a lot quickly.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to integrate and motivate others.

We are located in Salisbury 4107

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
