**About the role**

Based at our main operation at Salisbury South and reporting to the Plant Manager the Transport Coordinator and Production Scheduler supports the daily function of operations and transport activities. This role provides the opportunity to work independently and in a team environment, with daily communication with people internally and externally will provide you with good relationship-building opportunities which are important to this role.

Responsibilities include;
- Preparing delivery orders and organising the transportation wool from various depots around Australia, our main warehouse, and to and from our process facility in Salisbury.
- Coordinating the delivery of product to Australian customers
- Communicating and making arrangements with transport companies
- Ensuring that transport arrangements are made efficiently through effective load, load handling and delivery planning.
- Preparing the production schedule in line with inbound product that meets our customers' requirements
- Investigate and develop opportunities to gain efficiencies, and cost improvements in relation to transport arrangements.
- Build and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships within the transport industry.
- Maintaining freight in and out information systems and all required administration.

- Transport knowledge and experience
- Ability to manage time effectively and autonomously
- Strong customer service skills
- Great problem-solving skills
- Have a strong attention to detail and can follow process
- An understanding of production/process scheduling
- Good computer skills including Excel
