Employment Type:Full-time

About UsWe are a global leader in environmental monitoring solutions for the mining and government sectors. Our cutting-edge, cloud-based platforms deliver the most comprehensive compliance monitoring available, designed to meet the strictest regulatory requirements.
Operating in some of the world's most remote regions, we specialise in direct-to-satellite sensor networks — and we are proud to be the first Industrial IoT company in the world to offer direct-to-cell IoT connectivity via the Starlink network.
Our mission is to empower decision-makers with real-time data to protect the environment, ensure compliance, and reduce operational risk.
The RoleWe are seeking a Business Development Manager with the drive, commercial acumen, and international vision to take our solutions to the next level. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new opportunities, building relationships with mining companies, government agencies and strategic partners — both within Australia and globally.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about technology, sustainability and growth, who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a growth-focused sales strategy targeting mining, infrastructure, and government clients.
 - Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers, compliance officers, and procurement teams.
 - Drive adoption of our direct-to-cell IoT solutions as a game-changer in remote monitoring.
 - Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of IoT solutions and technologies to effectively communicate value propositions and technical capabilities to clients.
 - Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation through to contract close.
 - Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and stakeholder meetings.
 - Collaborate with our engineering and operations teams to ensure customer success and solution alignment.
 - Provide market intelligence to inform product development and strategy.

- Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within IoT, mining services, environmental monitoring, or related industries.
 - Minimum 3-5 years of business development or sales experience is required.
 - Strong network in the mining or government sectors (advantageous).
 - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
 - Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
 - A passion for technology, sustainability, and solving complex problems.
 - Willingness to travel both within Australia and internationally as required.
 - Australian citizenship is required for this position.

- Opportunity to work with world-first technology and a forward-thinking team.
 - Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
 - Flexible working arrangements.
 - A role where your contribution will have a global environmental impact.
