We supply and support a full range of Caterpillar and other heavy machinery across the mining and construction sectors, offering high-quality plant for both short and long-term hire nationwide.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to join our maintenance team in Stapylton.

This hands-on role supports our workshop operations, assisting tradespeople with various tasks to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist tradespeople with mechanical and fabrication tasks
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs as directed
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a workshop or trade assistant role preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
  • Forklift license (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
