Our client is a large accounting and advisory practice with newly renovated offices, located in Blackburn. They have a range of expertise in accounting, audit, wealth management, superannuation, financing and property.

They pride themselves as being one of the only top 100 accounting firms to work for in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, boasting a rich culture of allowing flexible/hybrid working arrangements, frequent work events, brand new office fit out and a social working environment.

Due to continued growth throughout the last 2 years, they are looking for a driven, outgoing, and experienced Business Advisory Senior Accountant to join their team.

The Role

  • Preparing income tax returns and special-purpose financial reports for a wide variety of clients
  • Assist in researching and preparing practical written advice
  • Ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently and effectively as directed
  • Assisting clients with ad-hoc enquiries in a timely fashion
  • Effective communication with Partners, Managers, and peers
  • Mentoring and managing graduates and junior accountants.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

  • 3+ years' experience in a public practice firm (in Australia)
  • Working towards or have completed CA/CPA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Efficient time management skills, highly dependable and thrives as part of a team.
