About the role

  • High growth company offering lawyers the opportunity to enjoy a broad commercial law role in a well established mid sized legal team

  • Exposure to large and complex projects

  • Work closely with the business and develop your commercial acumen and apply your legal skills in an environment that brings its inhouse lawyers in early so you see matters from setting strategy through to completion

  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting and dynamic legal, risk and project matters across the business

  • Be mentored by excellent senior in-house lawyers

About you

You are a keen, confident lawyer with around 3 to 5 years' post admission experience. You may have already made the move inhouse or this opportunity presents a change from private practice. You're willing to learn new skills and committed to providing high level legal services. You enjoy forming strong relationships with business partners, and working across all levels in an organisation including senior management.

  • High motivation, enthusiasm and energy

  • Collegiality, a willingness to 'pitch in' and contribute to the committed and supportive legal team

  • Clear communication skills, developing rapport across all levels

  • Naturally curious with a strong desire to continue to learn and develop professional and technical skills across a wide range of areas.

Melbourne CBD role. A hybrid working model is on offer.
