Front of House Staff

Location: South East Melbourne

About Us:

We are a new Indian restaurant opening soon in South East Melbourne. We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House staff to provide excellent service and create a welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders, provide menu recommendations, and serve dishes.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the dining experience.
  • Manage tables, maintain cleanliness of the dining area, and assist with setup/pack-down.
  • Handle payments and use POS systems accurately.
  • Assist with reservations, takeaway orders, and customer queries.

Requirements:

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and well-presented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Knowledge of Indian cuisine is an advantage (training will be provided).
