About the Role:

MHD-ROCKLAND, as part of our continued growth in the Australian and New Zealand Territory, are currently seeking a confident Warehouse Storeman with Forklift experience and holds a current HRWL for a LF Forklift to join and support our Brisbane based team on a full-time basis.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Load and unload incoming and outbound freight
  • Safely operate Forklifts and Electric Pickers
  • Oversee the receipt and storage of goods and materials
  • Ensure compliance when storing and handling dangerous goods
  • Management and optimisation of warehouse storage
  • Perform inventory transactions and accurate upkeep of records
  • General housekeeping and administrative duties, including filing and data entry in our WMS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum of 2 years' warehouse experience
  • Experience in defence logistics is highly advantageous; veterans encouraged to apply
  • Intermediate computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Forklift experience and recent experience with high reach
  • Dangerous goods awareness and handling skills are desirable
  • Ability to obtain a statement of attainment (Aviation Security, Dangerous Goods & International Airfreight procedures are highly regarded)
  • Physical ability to lift 20kg or more
  • Positive, proactive and energetic team player

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Australian Citizen
  • Current Forklift License
  • Additional details relayed during interview
