Southern Steel Queensland is QLD's leading steel supplier and processing company, operating across 5 locations in the state. We're seeking a motivated Storeperson to join our Wacol branch for the Afternoon Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include:
  • Warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes/forklifts
  • Picking & packing orders, unloading, loading and stacking materials
  • Completing documents associated with deliveries
  • Operating machines, when required
  • General warehouse duties and supporting the warehouse team
  • Following the correct safety procedures at all times

Someone who is a team player, reliable, and enjoys a fast-paced environment will be perfectly suited to this role.

To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • Experience in a similar role or understanding of warehouse operations (not essential)
  • Willing to undergo Forklift and Overhead Crane training.
  • Great communication skills, ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
  • An excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn.
