Senior Mining Engineer

Our amazing client is looking for a qualified Senior Mining Engineer to join as a key member of their Technical Service team, responsible for planning, scheduling and budgeting to deliver efficient coal production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Short-term planning.
- Medium-term planning.
- Monthly reconciliation.
- Assist with 5-year and long-term planning.
- Lead, plan, organise, manage, and control all compliance requirements.
- Assistance in other areas of Technical Service as required (gas drainage, geotechnical, ventilation, survey).
About You:
- 5 years's experience in underground coal mining.
- Ability to work in team environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload and satisfy stakeholder expectations regarding deadlines.
- Computer skills - Microsoft suite, Deswik mine scheduling and design software, AutoCAD/Vulcan.
