About the Role

Join our Curragh North team as a Mining Supervisor and play a pivotal role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality production across operations. Reporting to the Mining Coordinator, you'll lead crews each shift, providing clear direction, strategy, and hands-on performance feedback. You'll ensure operational processes meet safety and production standards, oversee team development, and contribute to forward planning to keep operations aligned with overall operational objectives. This role operates on a 7/7 roster.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading, coaching, and mentoring mining crews to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality production
• Monitoring operational performance, identify risks, and enforce SHMS and production plan compliance
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to optimise mining schedules and workflows
• Develop team members through structured training, competency management, and performance reviews
• Manage shift schedules, attendance, leave, and resource allocation to maintain smooth operations
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve safety, productivity, and overall operational performance

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience supervising mining operations and leading teams
• Strong understanding of mining production processes and operational best practices
• Proactive approach to safety, compliance, and problem-solving
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to achieve mine plan objectives
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP), Microsoft Office, and other relevant operational software
