Find purpose and impact

You have a passion for delivering high quality customer services to the community. You will be organised, self-motivated and value the opportunity to work as part of a team. As a Library Assistant, you will work in a customer facing environment assisting customers with accessing library resources and facilities as you make an impact within the local community.

You'll make an impact by:

• Supporting customers in the use of library facilities, resources and PC applications.
• Deliver excellent face to face customer service to all library users.
• Issue and return library materials.
• Organising library resources
• Operate library equipment.
  Respond to borrowers' enquiries and provide information services.

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Higher School Certificate.
• Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Strong computer literacy and understanding of common software packages
• A current Working with Children Check.
  Current First Aid certificate.

This position offers an attractive hourly salary ranging from $32.60 to $37.88
