The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Accounts Payable/Customer Services Officer to join our Finance Team in Rose Park. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, payment preparation, and ensuring accurate financial records. Although the primary focus will be on managing our accounts payable processes and reconciliations, you will also support the customer services team with customer queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices and reimbursements and adjustment notes
  • Reconcile supplier statements/accounts and resolving discrepancies
  • Prepare and process payments in line with agreed terms
  • Support supplier onboarding by creating and maintaining supplier profiles
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date accounts payable records and documentation
  • Support month-end close activities
  • Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring effective resolution

Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years' experience in an accounts payable role within a high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and reconciliations
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial records and data entry
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, or similar)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency or valid work visa)
