This is a critical position for Haskoning Australia Pty Ltd. With your effective, integrated marketing and communications plans, you achieve awareness, conversion and retention for our brand in Australia and supporting the APAC region. And of course, you ensure that the strategy in line with the overall regional strategy and related marketing plans on a global level.
What you do
In your day-to-day work, you build our brand in the APAC region for our Business Lines Water & Maritime and Digital. To translate the global to regional strategies, you will actively collaborate with the marketing teams on the leading markets, software. By doing so, you tell our story to the right audience, at the right time on the right channels.
Some examples of work you will be involved in are:
- Create strategies to promote PMCs and make target content on the website to make it in line with these strategies.
- Prepare internal communication that clearly translates the message to regional stakeholders and employees.
- Assist on content such as articles, press releases and white papers.
- Build our local media and digital media presence and daily management of social media and the website. You will collaborate with the PR manager in the team to use PR as a communication channel.
- Advise the local Business Units with their internal and external marketing and communication needs.
You measure and monitor the effectiveness of the local marketing initiatives with KPI's and provide appropriate reporting and status updates. By analysing the data, you find new ways to optimise the initiatives.

As an Integrated Marketing Specialist, you will become part of a dynamic, international and fast-growing marketing team that serves the Business Lines Water & Maritime and Digital. A team that consists of a number of marketing and communication experts which each their own focus. With most of our team being based in the Netherlands, you are our linking pin to the APAC region. But this doesn't mean that you are on your own. You will work closely together with the local Business Development Team and Line Managers.
What you bring
With your experience in working in a matrix organisation and running marketing and communication strategies and execution across business vertically, you effortlessly collaborate with diverse stakeholder of all different levels. You are analytical by nature, which makes it easy to solve problems and you are able to deal with tight deadlines.
Additionally, you have:
- A university degree in Communications, Marketing or a Business Discipline.
- A proven track record in development and implementation of marcom plans within the APAC region.
- Profound knowledge of online marketing (SEO, SEA, Content Marketing, Social Media Advertising and E-mail Marketing).
- Experience in working with CRM systems to manage funnels and measure ROI and KPI's.
- Experience working within the Engineering Consultancy space
