Inclusion Project Coordinator
- Full-time or part-time (0.8), 12 month fixed-term opportunity
- $66,997 pro rata, plus superannuation, plus salary packaging
- Join a team that is passionate about improving diversity, inclusion and employee experience
We're looking for an organised, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to help keep our inclusion and employee experience projects running smoothly. You don't need to be an expert in inclusion: what's important is that you're organised, pay attention to detail and have experience helping with projects. It's a great fit for someone who is keen to learn and grow. You'll be part of our Inclusion & Experience team within People & Culture: we focus on improving diversity, inclusion and employee experience.
You'll work closely with the Inclusion & Experience Lead to coordinate projects, action plans and reporting that improve diversity, inclusion, and employee experience. While an interest in diversity and inclusion is a plus, specialist knowledge isn't essential - we value strong organisation, project coordination skills and a willingness to learn.
If you enjoy working in a busy team, keen to learn new skills and take pride in delivering high-quality work, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day coordination support across inclusion and employee experience projects.
- Manage calendars, agendas and minutes for the Belonging Committee.
- Assist with meeting scheduling, inbox management and workplan mapping.
- Track project timelines, deliverables and budgets.
- Maintain well-organised records and filing systems in SharePoint.
- Create engaging visual materials (slides, infographics, reports) – Canva experience is an advantage.
- Support consultation with employees, consumers, and external community groups.
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of teams and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks and follow through.
- High level of digital literacy, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Teams, Outlook (or confidence to learn quickly).
- Excellent written and visual communication skills.
- Experience supporting or coordinating projects in any setting.
- Confidence communicating in a professional and inclusive way.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to pitch in where needed.
Highly Regarded (but Not Essential)
- Interest or experience in diversity & inclusion, employee experience, or public health.
- Experience in government, not-for-profit, or purpose-driven environments.
- Familiarity with human-centred design, change management, or project coordination.
- Experience collecting and theming data from surveys or consultations.
- Ability to build relationships with community groups and lead consultation processes.
