Our Radiology Services team plays a crucial role in ensuring patients receive timely, accurate, and high-quality care by optimising how our radiologists and support teams work. We are looking for a Roster Support Officer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to assist with efficient rostering and workforce solutions that keep services running smoothly and support both clinical excellence and business outcomes.

About The Role
As a Radiology Roster Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, optimising, and maintaining workforce rosters that ensure appropriate coverage across radiologists, registrars, fellows, and support teams. Reporting to the Radiology Services Manager, you will monitor rosters, make proactive changes, and address resourcing gaps to maintain efficient and high-quality service delivery. Your expertise in rostering systems, data-entry and data-driven decision-making will be critical to supporting both operational performance and patient outcomes.

This full-time role is based in South Bank, Brisbane, with convenient access to public transport.

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

• Maintaining rosters for radiologists, registrars, fellows, and support teams to ensure optimal coverage
• Work with the Radiology Services team to monitor staffing levels, leave, and availability to proactively identify and resolve workforce gaps
• Assisting to analyse workload patterns and forecasting demand to align workforce resources with service needs
• Providing regular workforce planning reports and insights to support leadership decision-making
• Driving continuous improvement of rostering processes by leveraging data, technology, and workforce planning best practices

About You

• Experience in workforce planning, rostering, or medical administration (healthcare environment desirable).
• Strong organisational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in liaising with senior medical staff.
• Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
• Proficiency with rostering or workforce management systems (training provided if required).
• Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and accountable.
• Practical, adaptable, and supportive in approach.
