Your New Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Rostering Officer to support the Internal Medicine Service Line at Logan Hospital. In this key role, you will ensure efficient roster management and provide essential workforce support to our medical staff. You will:

  • Coordinate, maintain and monitor medical staff rosters, including on-call and after-hours arrangements.
  • Provide authoritative advice on rostering, payroll, entitlements, and award conditions.
  • Liaise with Clinical Directors and staff to resolve workforce issues and support operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records, data validation, and compliance with industrial policies and legislative requirements.

  • Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, rostering systems, payroll processes and industrial awards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve roster and workforce issues.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with staff at all levels with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing demands, and adapt to changing needs while supporting the wider team.
