About the Opportunity

As a Lead or Principal Mechanical Engineer, you can demonstrate your leadership skills, as you guide your team of Engineers and Drafters to solve complex problems and deliver results on a diverse range of projects for our major national and international oil and gas clients.

You will impart your expertise to a mix of brownfield projects in the areas of offshore assets and onshore infrastructure, floating/fixed facility design and modifications, specialised equipment design and field developments.

About You

  • Eng Mechanical (or B. Eng Mechatronics with demonstrable mechanical engineering experience).
  • 15+ years relevant post graduate mechanical engineering experience from conceptual design through to installation.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role or as a subject matter expert.
  • You enjoy leading teams of Engineers and Drafters and watching them achieve remarkable things.
  • Extensive experience in detailed mechanical design on brownfield oil and gas projects, including producing calculations and reports.
  • Solid experience in piping is essential, and experience in other areas such as structural scopes is advantageous.
  • Being well versed with current offshore codes and specifications, including ASME and API.
  • Proficient with CAESAR II or equivalent piping engineering software.
